Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this is a role for a passionate, data-driven, and technically-savvy digital analytics expert that will oversee our digital analytics used to enhance decision making, improve performance and continually enable a data-driven culture. In this role you will apply expertise in digital analytics, including web analytics and A/B testing to ensure continuous improvement and optimization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s digital analytics efforts
  • Validate and troubleshoot tagging & tracking issues as they occur – communicating status/next steps until resolution with all relevant stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams in support of tagging needs for paid advertising, testing (Wasabi), Pardot, etc.
  • Tracking, assessing and reporting customer user journeys to determine strongest path to conversion and purchase, to develop actionable insights/actions and testing strategies to increase traffic and increase conversions
  • Analyze performance of digital assets, platforms & advertising campaigns
  • Create and maintain tagging documentation
  • Proactively translate raw data into actionable items and suggest additional analytics methods as needed
  • Create and manage technical requirements to engineering in support of all Google tagging
  • Manage administration and governance of GA 360
  • Oversee tagging implementation and configuration of Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Managing and prioritizing work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met; and
  • Providing regular status reports and briefings to stakeholders and functional leadership teams.
  • Staying up to date on analytics industry trends to inform ongoing changes and enhancements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in user-focused digital analytics, reporting and testing;
  • Academic background in analytics, statistics, marketing, business, or related field.
  • Proven experience establishing effective testing, measurement and reporting programs that deliver insights to business partners enabling them to make informed decisions that increase program effectiveness
  • Experience with marketing automation (Pardot, or equivalent) and CRM tools (Salesforce.com, or equivalent); web analytics tools (Google Analytics 360 or equivalent), testing tools (Wasabi, or equivalent) social measurement platforms (Sprout Social, or equivalent); business intelligence platforms (Google Data Studio, Tableau, or equivalent), Tag Management systems (Google Tag Manager or equivalent), organic keyword platforms (Linkdex, or equivalent);
  • Experience in statistical modeling and business analysis;
  • Experience with web testing and targeting/personalization a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
