About The Role

G2 is looking for a Financial Accounting Analyst who will be responsible for proving the accuracy of integrated accounting data, supporting both pre and post-sale clients. This individual will support the presales process to ensure prospects understand how we integrate with accounting systems, and post-sales clients to validate the integration method and accuracy.

In this role, you will: 

• Support Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to ensure clients understand how G2 Track integrates with accounting systems.
• Reconcile transactional data against client reporting to prove accuracy and ensure client confidence.
• Analyze and identify issue(s) and propose solutions
• Articulate finance and accounting concepts to both finance and non-finance personas.
• Advise clients on how they can improve data quality by adjusting Accounting practices.
• Discuss and recommend if clients should use a cash basis or accrual basis integration approach.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, advocating internally for clients accounting integration needs and requests to G2 Track’s internal Support, Product, Engineering, and Sales teams
• Be a subject matter expert in G2 Track accounting integrations

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting or FP&A experience
• Experience reconciling accounting datasets
• High attention to detail
• Ability to inspire confidence in data accuracy to a variety of stakeholders
• Strong understanding of amortization and accrual transactions
• Familiarity with chart of account structures

Nice to Have

• Experience with corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
• Experience with financial system implementations
• Understanding of the procure to pay process
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, Workday, or Oracle
