What we are looking for:


Fast Radius is hiring a passionate and experienced Logistics Analyst to join our Logistics team. Reporting to our Logistics Manager, you'll be a core member of our Logistics team, with a variety of operational responsibilities. This is a performance-oriented and data-driven role that requires attention detail and an ability to multitask, all while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including operations, customer success, and our logistics vendors and customers.

About the Role:

  • Lead resolution to any operational shipping issues for customers and internal and external manufacturing partners
  • Responsible for data accuracy in our shipping systems (i.e. PNs, BOM, Quantity, Codes, Descriptions)
  • Follow-up on shipping progress through tracking methodologies and carrier communication
  • Develop, improve, and maintain tools that support our logistics processes
  • Develop metrics to benchmark, compare, and contrast provider performance
  • Provide real-time oversight of day-to-day import and export activities
  • Interface with freight forwarders, government officials, custom brokers, internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to customs and import and export regulations
  • Work with international suppliers on timely freight pick-up, adherence to incoterms, and freight arrangement
  • Work closely with our corporate finance team to enable efficient monthly reporting and forecasting processes
  • Assist supply chain leadership team on improvement initiatives in making shipping a profit center
  • Develop both short and long-term solutions to ensure that our key stakeholders have the supply chain data they need for today and in the future

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and/or 2+ years of equivalent practical experience (logistics, import)
  • Experience working with HTSUS and local Harmonized Tariff Schedules and in interpretation and application of classification concepts and references
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business
  • Strong customer service and collaboration skills
  • Firm understanding of regulations for importing and exporting freight
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success Managers, IT, and Legal Stakeholders
  • Comprehensive experience of managing customs brokers and customs broker vendors
  • Evaluate and organize data, creating valuable insight that can be used to take immediate and long-term business decisions
  • Practice and promote a collaborative and team-based service approach while demonstrating exceptional individual contributions within Supply Chain
  • Possess a pragmatic, hands on approach with a bias for action
  • Able to effectively present information and sell ideas to key decision makers
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems and Logistics Portal
  • Advanced use of Word, Excel (formula / Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Smartsheets.
  • Six Sigma and LEAN experience a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • Up to 10% global travel (Open and able to travel to China, other parts of Asia, Europe)
  • Effective overall communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent project and time management skills with occasional multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical skills and decision making
