Neighborhoods.com is searching for hard-working, detail-oriented individuals to help improve our website. We provide information about hundreds of thousands of neighborhoods around the country in order to assist homebuyers with their real estate search. Our website not only helps people find their perfect home, it also helps them find their ideal neighborhood.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Map Contractor:
- Analyzing area-specific data, including parcel data, listings information, and geographical characteristics
- Using that data to research neighborhood boundaries
- Defining neighborhood boundaries using a drawing tool (similar to Adobe)
- Reviewing existing neighborhood boundaries in order to ensure informational accuracy for our users
- Training will take place in our West Loop office, but this will eventually be a remote position
We Think You Could Be Really Successful If You:
- Enjoy solving puzzles
- Possess map reading/analyzing skills
- Excel in geography/spatial orientation
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency with Google Maps
- Own a computer with significant processing power
- Proficiency with the Google Suite of products is a plus
More About The Position:
- This will be an independent contractor role
- After an initial training period, Map Contractors will work remotely
- 20-40 hours/week
- $13/hour starting wage
- Office is located in the West Loop near Blue, Green, Pink, and Brown lines
