Role Description:
The Partnerships Data Analyst will be responsible for creating ad hoc analyses and reports that interpret and analyze data trends for special contracts and partnerships within Oak Street Health. The Data Analyst will assist in determining future analyses and will triage issues and support requests from both internal and external teams. This role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Business Analyst / PM in prioritizing work across the partnerships and communicating effectively on all requests and issues.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Prepare and disseminate analysis reports, and presentations to various audiences both internal and external
- Collaborate with internal program staff around all evaluation and analysis activities
- Handle all data requests and special analyses for internal and external partners
- Assist in developing actionable metrics to quantify the impact of programming
- Establish relationships with internal and external partners to obtain and validate quality data
- Assist in creating uniform business rules that will be used in all ad-hoc analyses
- Document, analyze, and assess current business processes and underlying systems/applications
- Triage and troubleshoot complex user-reported defects; assist in various system troubleshooting and balancing/correcting efforts including analysis, verification, and validation of issues/fixes
- Other duties, as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business or Analytics
- 3+ more years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures on large data sets with complex data models
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PowerPivot, functions, VBA)
- Data management experience; knowledgeable in database rules, writing queries, and relational database creation and management (create, query, relate)
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables and communicate them to business owners
- Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders
- Business process understanding
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and/or experience working within sprints
- US work authorization
