Your Role In Our Mission 

The Data Team at HealthJoy is powering an increasingly data-driven culture in everything that we do. Our data products and analysis are consumed by all parts of the organization; from the CEO to engineering to external partners. As HealthJoy continues its exponential growth, the Data Team guides teams, processes, and products to measure and understand the meaningful impact it will have on our clients and members.

What You’ll Accomplish

Our data architecture allows you to be involved from the moment data hits our production systems all the way to presenting findings to shareholders. Along the way you might make changes in AWS systems, push DBT data transformation to our warehouse, query data for one-off Excel or Python analysis, or create a new BI dashboard. At the end of the day you'll be sharing your work and collaborating with stakeholders to help them understand what matters most. You’ll create data experiences utilizing our core technologies: Segment, Mixpanel + Amplitude, Fivetran, DBT, Gitlab, Looker, AWS, Python, Excel, and Snowflake. 

What You’ll Need

Working with data is more than just making plots. Our team members need to really understand how to set up and run a data experiment, what we can and can not learn from data, and how to communicate this to a variety of audiences. We're looking for:

• 3+ years of data analyst experience in a professional setting
• Expert in SQL skills
• Proficient with Excel
• Proficient with at least 1 scripting language (ideally Python)
• Strong in data visualization and communication skills
• Have a strong desire and demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new skills
