Job Description
The Analytic Consulting Group partners with both internal and external clients, and data providers, leveraging various analytics to drive strategic thought and effective decision making. The Senior Digital Data Analyst is responsible for conducting data analyses using Datorama, Excel and other tools in support of a specific client's digital marketing strategy. Responsible for the analysis, data assembly and optimization recommendations of client's online marketing campaigns and initiatives. Media channels include Paid Search, Display, Social Media, and Email/CRM
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee the import of digital marketing, website and prescription volume data into client's Datorama tool. Validate accuracy of the imported data. Work with data providers to rectify errors/omissions.
  • Analyze these data sets and evaluate the effectiveness of the several agencies' marketing campaigns in service of the client's highest-priority pharmaceutical brands. Develop investment recommendations / suggested corrections and other related insights.
  • Host high-visibility meetings with senior client personnel and agency campaign managers during which performance data are reviewed and tactic alterations discussed.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to answer questions arising from client presentations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance, refine and implement campaign data taxonomies which provide the data dimensions necessary for reporting at any relevant level of detail.
  • Design (in the Datorama interface) visualizations which explain campaign performance at the correct level of detail and content for each audience.
  • Consult with Epsilon India teammates on client deliverables, actively collaborating with them to load-balance tasks effectively across.
  • Serve as a primary subject matter expert regarding all data fields used by the client for digital marketing reporting.
  • Pull and shape data from client's various Google Analytics properties/views and be accountable for detecting tag malfunctions discovered in the data or via GA alerts.
  • Proactively communicate with supervisor regarding workload and the status of assignments
  • Remain alert to opportunities to cross-sell client other relevant Epsilon services.
  • Prepare basic report content (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in support of deliverables
  • As required, pull data from various web analytics tools and formulate PowerPoint reports on digital media and web analytics performance
  • As product websites are redesigned, review KPIs and provide strategic recommendations for ongoing campaign and site improvements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience conducting digital analytics or working in another analytical field with a demonstrated passion for digital.
  • Strong analytic and technical thought process and ability to interpret findings.
  • Patient and perceptive listener. Effective communicator via both written and spoken word.
  • Strong understanding of pulling data from the web analytics tools, ideally Google Analytics
  • Advanced user in Excel and PowerPoint: pivot tables, charts, vlookups and dashboard creation. Good at summarizing business performance verbally and via charts.
  • A basic understanding of statistical analysis and research methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, mathematics, marketing or psychology.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Datorama (or similar Business Intelligence Interface/Data Warehouse) experience.
  • Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Database marketing experience/knowledge
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
  • Digital Marketing Agency experience.
  • SQL, Python, R and/or some understanding of predictive/inferential modeling.
