Designer, Motion Graphics & Animation

Cooler Screens was founded on the core idea that consumers deserve a far better experience than what is available today in brick-and-mortar retail. We call this concept Consumer Experience (“CX”) and it guides all that we do.  We have begun the CX journey by bringing what consumers love about shopping on-line to the frozen and refrigerated food aisle.

Cooler Screens is re-imagining the business of brick-and-mortar retail for retailers and brands.  We are transforming retail cooler surfaces into IoT enabled screens that deliver new marketing opportunities and smart merchandising for the ultimate shopper experience. Cooler Screens is building the world’s first and largest in-store digital media and edge computing platform at the retail point-of-sale.

As the Designer for Motion, Graphics & Animation, you will be responsible for the creation and development of animations, motion graphics and video compositions, along with some editing. You will provide creative support for the Cooler Screens product team, contributing to both group and independent projects. Ultimately, you will ensure that our creative output meets and exceeds the highest quality standards.

• You are comfortable and have a track record working in fast paced environments (Start-up experience is helpful)

What You Will Do:

• Create and evolve video/animation/motion graphics for Cooler Screen and our wide variety of clients
• Translate project details and creative direction into custom motion work
• Research and answer technical questions with respect to design/animation techniques or systems in use
• Maintain high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests
• Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and regularly effectively prioritize multiple assignments
• Produce and animate digital ads

What You Need to Succeed

• 5+ years hands-on design/graphics/animation/motion experience

• Passion for creating visually appealing video
• Adobe Suite including After Effects and other related programs
• Demonstrated 3D animation skills, particularly with inanimate objects
• Online portfolio/demo reel showcasing your creativity, design and type layout skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Eagerness to regularly contribute creative ideas, desire to push designs/animations to the next level, and aptitude to learn new software to enhance individual versatility
• Strong individual and team communication skills with the ability to take direction well
• Excellent organization skills with a keen eye to detail
