Purpose of the Role

This person will partner with cross-functional team members to design, implement and continuously improve the digital asset management platform. They will participate in the analysis and organization of all digital assets created and uploaded to the DAM. They will collaborate with team leaders on taxonomy structure, metadata, upload and organization of assets, implementation and rollout of DAM, training and troubleshooting. They will also have an in-depth understanding of workflow management and lead the development and deployment of a workflow system for Pampered Chef. They will work closely with technology on how these assets are integrated into digital tools to support our consultants and the continuous improvement of these tools. This role is equal parts management of the DAM tool and the digital tools powered by the API.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Asset Management - Platform:

  • Curate assets through lifecycle—vetting/releasing, monitoring/auditing, and archiving.
  • Establish DAM permissions based on role, market-specificity, asset type access.
  • Continued outreach for user adoption and engagement.
  • Apply library science principles and industry conventions to file naming and folder taxonomy, for standardization and consistency.
  • Align to marketing server structure.
  • QA marketing collateral (print & digital) prior to release to ensure incorporated assets are aligned to brand standards.
  • Reporting on DAM assets back through marketing team to inform future optimization, asset retiring and new asset development
  • Owns relationship with DAM tool partner
  • Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights
  • Facilitates retrieval of previously cataloged images/shoots
  • Keeps informed of latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations
  • Trains creative team on upload, metadata and archival process
  • Partner with the Project Management team on updates to workflow tool

Digital Asset Management – Tools:

  • Keep up on the direct sales space and tools available to consultants to share their business with end consumers
  • Process efficiency solution identification: discovery & advise, business case proposal, measure and report results.
  • Manage deadlines for testing enviro, and go-live dates for consultant and consumer sites.
  • Continuous improvement of consultants facing tools using Widen API to streamline process and improve consultant experience

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 4+ years experience in related field including exposure to a Digital Asset Management system.
  • Strong expertise with Widen system preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge) and MS Office applications required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Very strong organizational skills required.
  • Knowledge of web image optimization required.
  • Familiarity with design, digital photography, prepress and printing processes - nice to have.
  • Aptitude for learning creative elements of publication and marketing material production process required.
