The Role
At Fetch Rewards, our vision is to help make shopping easy, fun and smart. Millions of people use our app every month and we are growing rapidly. Even though we are already ranked as one of the top shopping apps in the App Store and have earned a 4.8/5 rating, we believe our product can do so much more. And we need you to help make it happen.
We are looking for a Game Designer to drive fun, rewarding, challenging consumer interactions. We are continuing to invest in the intersection of fun and savings by creating games and challenges for our users to play. You will lead an autonomous cross-functional product and engineering team to develop in app games and game experiences and deliver key experiences that drive engagement.
This can be based anywhere in the United States.
What kind of person are we looking for?
- Background in game development via degree and/or relevant work experience
- Combination of creativity to develop ideas for new in-app games and activities with the ability to bring these ideas to life
- Passion for our product and making fun a pervasive part of using Fetch
- Able to set direction, build roadmaps, launch successful features, measure results and improve outcomes
- An effective collaborator with engineering, interaction design and analytics
- Motivated by a high degree of ownership and bias for action in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Within 1 month you will:
- Meet our team and learn about our customer experience and technical platform
- Get up to speed on existing projects in development and begin taking over day to day execution
- Set your initial priorities and align on expectations for your role
Within 3 months you will:
- Establish the general vision for your area
- Start forming and testing new hypotheses about how to address customer needs in your area
- Partner with design, engineering and analytics to set your priorities and roadmap
- Lead the definition, launch and assessment of new products
Within 6 months you will:
- Demonstrate clear improvements to customer engagement and retention via successful feature launches
- Help to make others on the team better through your leadership and example
- Identify and lead implementation of new ways to help the product, team and overall company
