Job Description
We are seeking a creative Jr. Graphic Designer who is enthusiastic about design to join our Brand Design Team to help build compelling visuals that support our community of music makers.
As a Jr. Graphic Designer your visual design would help make Reverb an inspiring and inclusive place for music makers to learn and explore. Assisting our Marketing team you'll take initiatives and build insightful, visually compelling designs that bring the story to life. We’re looking for someone that can learn through research, collaborate with a highly engaged team, and balance multiple projects at a time.
Responsibilities and day-to-day
- Under the direction of the Art Director, you will build design assets for advertising campaigns through our paid media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Collaborate with the Acquisition team on the strategy of each campaign and decipher that strategy into execution.
- Work within the Reverb brand guidelines to develop both animated and static designs depending on the project and its requirements.
- Experiment with visuals, evaluate their performance, and detail your hypothesis and findings.
- Create print advertisements for publication partnerships.
- Ensure quality across all areas of work.
- Prepare and present your work to peers and leadership.

- Initiative in problem solving and project management.
- Ability to articulate design decisions in a way that’s translatable to a team from many fields.
- Decipher quantitative and qualitative insights and translate them into your work.
- Ability to find exciting solutions to problems that can be new and exciting.
- Ability to learn from and express feedback often in a collaborative and insightful manner.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic or visual design.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite with a large focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
- Experience creating advertising through paid channels.
- Print experience with working knowledge of setting up files for publication.
- A portfolio illustrating your attention to detail, ability to conceptualize and craft large projects from start to finish, and your contribution to design thinking.
- Understanding of design principles and trends with the ability to learn as new programs and software becomes available.
- Basic HTML and CSS skills.
- Experience working in-house for a brand is helpful.
