The Role:

The Product Designer concepts and designs beautiful, user-centric experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile. They are comfortable and well-versed in interaction design, visual design and user experience. They enjoy concepting and designing compelling UI, but also have a passion for the details which includes developing and maintaining design systems, building style guides, creating symbol libraries, design templates, etc.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Concept and design compelling user interfaces for use in desktop, tablet and mobile

  • Partner with Product, Engineering and Marketing to deliver beautiful, user-centric designs

  • Well-versed with interaction design, visual design and user experience

  • Leverage data and user feedback to drive design decisions

  • Create sketches, wireframes and designs with UX/UI best practices in mind

  • Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, symbol libraries, etc.

  • Conduct frequent & appropriate user research, testing and metrics analysis

  • Create prototypes and process flows when needed

  • Inspire others with their positivity, enthusiasm and work ethic


 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years experience as a product designer

  • Solid understanding of responsive design and UX/UI best practices

  • Strong attention to detail, passion for quality and beautiful UI/UX 

  • Ability to design and envision experiences iteratively in a lean environment

  • Experience using Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and wireframe tools

  • Technical knowledge is a plus

Location

Our Chicago office where we were founded is in between The Merchandise Mart and East Bank Club. We have a flexible hybrid work environment and have employees located all over the country.
