Responsibilities

HAVI is looking for a talented UX/UI expert who loves making software a delight to use. This architect will help us create beautiful, functional, logical, and rich user experiences across our application development portfolio. A solid foundation in human-computer interaction is a must, as is staying up to speed with the latest in usability research. The architect will be setting standards across a wide range of projects and systems, and defining interface models that merge our brand guidelines and functional requirements not only into internal applications but, more importantly, amazing products for our clients.

Additional responsibilities:

• Create and maintain reference interface designs consisting of wireframes, mockups, and UI specifications
• Translate our visual identity and functional requirements into universal interface concepts, workflows, and reusable design components
• Collaborate with business stakeholders such as product owners, marketing, and service line leadership
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders such as developers, the Governance team, and fellow architects
• Coordinate the activities of several vendors working on product development activities
• Ensure consistent user experiences across devices, browsers, cultures, and languages

Desired Skills & Experience

• A degree in UX/UI or related discipline is preferred
• 7+ years design experience, with progressively increasing responsibilities
• 2-3 years experience in an architect or management role
• Deep experience with Prototyping Tools such as Framer
• Experience interacting with the C-suite, administrative staff, and all levels in between, both as end users and stakeholders
• Experience working in an Agile project management environment
• Broad experience across mobile, web, and other platforms & media
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks and their abilities and limitations, ability to translate interface concepts into realistic, achievable designs
• Experience working with data tools, both in independent usability research and end user design of dashboards and analytics interfaces
• While this role does not require coding, strong familiarity with software development concepts, languages, testing methodologies, and best practices is a plus
