What you’ll do? 

Clearcover is seeking a Sr. Brand Designer that has a passion for bringing great brands to life, producing cutting edge and engaging design while also understanding the business objectives behind the work. You’ll need to be a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a variety of media – websites, video production and motion graphics, social media, online and offline advertising, and more. We’re looking for someone who has worked in the brand and agency world, or with a strong in-house creative team, and has experience designing for multi-channel.

What are your responsibilities? 

• Partner closely with the brand marketing team to level-up our branding, develop new creative designs and concepts, and help position Clearcover as a leader in the insuretech space.
• Design creative assets for multi-channel marketing and demand gen campaigns spanning social, email, websites, online and offline ads, and video/motion graphics.
• Keep up with and set trends in the insuretech space.
• Work independently and collaboratively on projects and tasks to support the marketing team
• Source, prepare, and maintain photo assets for marketing/design projects.
• Provide and receive feedback with grace; a low ego and team player that’s willing to hop in to help where needed and loves to see co-workers thrive.

What do you need?  

• 3+ years of experience as a design generalist with a digital focus.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates a depth and breadth of design skills. 
• Demonstrated experience producing and directing short-form video for use in paid, social and more.
• Eager to work in a small, scrappy, fast-paced and growing startup environment that allows you to take on many responsibilities and own many projects.
•  Ability to juggle many projects and consistently deliver results
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, After Effects) and Figma/Sketch.
• Experience in designing for responsive web design and understanding web capabilities and contemporary standards.
• Relentlessly high quality standards and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to accept critique and gracefully defend creative decisions to leadership
• Curious about the problems Clearcover is solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excited to learn new mediums, software, and techniques - we value a do-it-yourself mindset.
• Chicago-based but open to a remote position.
