Department OverviewThe North America Integrated Marketing team is responsible for the management, measurement, lead flow and tracking of robust marketing strategies and tactics supporting the business and sales objectives for the company. The graphic designers are an integral part of the Integrated Marketing Team assisting with the creation of all internal and external marketing collateral.
Job Description

Candidate will work alongside senior designer to support design operations, concept, and execution. The on-site designer is responsible for creating outstanding, brand-consistent, user-centric design solutions for all projects. The position requires a motivated, detail-oriented, creative person who will efficiently manage projects from concept to completion. Deliverables will be divided approximately 75% traditional print and 25% digital.

Candidate will report to lead senior designer/project traffic manager to complete projects for integrated marketing managers and executive management.

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced capabilities in Powerpoint/presentation design. Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. High proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word or equivalent programs. 

• Experience working on a variety of formats i.e. presentations, flyers, brochures, case studies, promotion collateral, banner ads, web assets, GIFs, booth graphics/environmental graphics, emails

• Strong print/digital production skills i.e file packaging, color management, preflight or prepare files for print, work with printers and press checks and troubleshoot issues

• Expert knowledge of design elements, typography, balance, hierarchy and color usage. Strong conceptual, illustrative and layout skills

• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML, interactive layout/design 

• PC and Mac Proficient

  
  

Job Requirements: 

• Demonstrable strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. Must be able to translate written ideas into innovative designs.

• Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to communicate clearly and establish collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders and work partners

• Must demonstrate ability to efficiently manage multiple projects from start to finish while successfully delivering high-quality, innovative, on-brand and strategic print and digital solutions on time

• Must be organized and able to own, update and manage assigned projects in internal project management tool

• Above skills generally gained through completion of a degree in graphic design or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years’ design experience.

• Designer will be based on-site in the Chicago office. 

• Highly desirable: Any experience in web design and/or video is a PLUS.
