Position Overview

Join an award-winning global UX team at iManage to make an impact in product design for a suite of enterprise software solutions across multiple domains (security, AI/ML, productivity) built for web, mobile, and desktop consumption. The UX Lead will have to move quickly from research to white boarding/wireframes, high fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes. He/she will assimilate business, technical and user requirements, translate them into UX specifications, leading the design while delegating appropriate parts to UX designers. UX Lead will work closely with a UX research team to set the direction for the usability & end-user testing. Produce product design specifications to be shared with both the product and engineering teams. Ensure integrity of design as product moves from concept to release. The candidate is detail-oriented, able to lead a small team in delivery of on-time & on-spec UX artifacts, will identify areas of improvement and potential future enhancements. The candidate is proactive with professional development and staying up to date with new UX trends, research, mobile/web technologies, and design tools.

 Primary Responsibilities 

  • Seek to understand core user needs through research and translate them into product workflows & features
  • Define strong product direction and lead/mentor team of designers by example
  • Maintain strong collaboration with product management & solution architects, dev teams
  • Produce required UX artifacts when needed (user flows, journey maps, UI designs, prototypes, etc)
  • Ensure alignment of business goals with a superior end-user experience
  • Exhibit immaculate attention to detail, ensuring quality of design as product moves from concept to release
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and potential future product enhancements
  • Manage quarterly reviews & professional development of direct reports
  • Provide inputs for the direction & analysis of user testing
  • Stay up to date with new UX trends, mobile/web technologies, design tools

Requirements

  • Positive attitude, collaborative, passion for excellence
  • Successful track record of leading a UX projects for at least 2 years
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web/interactive with at least 2 year of experience in mobile/enterprise apps
  • Expert in Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office 
  • Strong understanding of current mobile & web technologies
  • Mastery of:
    • Managing product design system
    • Managing product design system
    • Presenting & defending design concepts to stakeholders
    • UI design including icons & motion graphics
    • User testing/research
    • UX Design (Wire framing, user flows, user personas, clickable prototypes)
    • Communication skills (verbal & written)Agile development process
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/HCI
