UX Researcher
Being an UX Researcher at iManage means…
You will impact the direction for a suite of enterprise software solutions across multiple domains (security, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, productivity) built for web, mobile, and desktop consumption. As a User Researcher you will work closely with our senior research staff and take on responsibilities in planning and implementing user research activities, synthesizing qualitative/quantitative data, and translating research insights into actionable design recommendations. This is a hands-on role which includes designing and documenting research plans, identifying key user personas, moderating user research sessions, and reporting findings to the project team and stakeholders.

- Establishing the foundation for quantitative data collection across 2-3 products
- Identifying goals for the research
- Outlining click-tracking plans
- Reviewing & implementing Google Tag Manager (GTM) triggers and tags
- Synthesizing the incoming data and producing relevant reports
- Working closely with UX, Product Management & Development teams to gain understanding of the iManage product portfolio
- Planning & conducting user research activities for multiple software products (web, mobile, desktop)
- Continuously refining key user personas for each product
- Defining benchmarking metrics and tracking them over time
- Implementing & designing user testing (qualitative, quantitative, PURE)
- Reviewing remote user test sessions and creating usability reports
- Helping identify future areas of research
- Working closely with UX designers, developers & the product team to understand human-centered designs based on your knowledge of HCI fundamentals

- A passion for uncovering pain points and delights in digital products, as well as helping to solve difficult user experience problems based on my research
- Experience collaborating with designers, developers and product teams across multiple products
- Experience in desktop, mobile or web application testing in both moderated and unmoderated environments
- An ability to effectively articulate issues and concerns to team members and clients as well as working to strategize potential solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience planning long-term user research strategy
- Proven ability of conducting user research in a LEAN UX environment and Agile/Scrum development process
