Who is Tangiblee?

Tangiblee is a fast-growing, profitable e-commerce start-up that revolutionizes how shoppers experience products online. Our product experience platform dramatically improves online retailers' conversion rates, and order values, while reducing returns. Top retailers worldwide, such as The Sak, Samsonite, Living Spaces, Helzberg Diamonds, Dana Rebecca Designs, and Fossil Group (and many more we can't publicly mention), trust Tangiblee to deliver optimal product experiences to their online shoppers.

Tangiblee's main office is located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, but Tangiblee is a remote-friendly company with offices & team members located all over the world. Tangiblee is backed by amazing TechStars mentors and investors such as Troy Henikoff, Amanda Lannert, Mike Gamson, and more.

What's the job, exactly?

Tangiblee needs a visual designer who conceptualizes & creates all of the visual collateral (graphic assets) for the marketing, sales, & product teams. In addition to creating visual aids, another critical responsibility includes managing and elevating the Tangiblee brand–in all visible facets.

This candidate must have formal design training (i.e., BS/BA in graphic design or a related field). This candidate will work directly with the marketing team to create design assets for campaigns for various channels (social media, website, email), sales collateral, and more. This person will LOVE researching the SaaS B2B industry, thinking outside the box, and taking the branding and visual design reigns for a growing tech start-up.

This position will begin as a part-time (approximately 20 hours a week) with the expectation of rolling into a full-time job within a few months. Immediate full-time will also be considered for the right candidate.

A few key things you'll be responsible for:

  • Building out Tangiblee's existing "brand book" for the sales & marketing teams–adhering to the brand's current color and style guidelines. Brand book assets needed include branded templates for internal and externally used documents, sales deck template(s), and other marketing and sales collateral.

  • Develop all types of digital marketing materials such as landing page(s) and landing page assets, blog post layouts & their assets, display ads for social media and other advertising campaigns, downloadable PDFs for website visitors, and more

  • Conceptualize & create short product demo videos and animated GIFs intended to inform prospects of Tangiblee's product offering & drive interest in Tangiblee's suite of services

  • Conceptualize & design visual layouts for HTML emails, website landing pages, and social media imagery (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram); occasionally, work with the product manager & product designer to help execute prototype designs for the product.

  • Create and maintain an up-to-date library of visual assets for the sales team as well as the marketing team;

  • Collaborate with all team members, including the founding, sales, and product team (assisting the product designer on specific tasks), to maintain consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

  • Distinguish between "good" design versus "great" design with strong attention to detail. Be rooted in the design principles and best practices WHILE still being passionate about exploring new, original design ideas.
