At Table XI, you’ll get exposure to many different people and projects. Our clients look to us as a strategic partner, and we make decisions that affect the long-term success of their businesses. Below are the expectations and duties for the position:

Proactively reach out to prospective clients:

  • handle inbound sales calls and client inquiries, respond to RFPs, generate proposals, and follow up pursuits
  • Reach out to target companies and those who are spending time on the Table XI website
  • Communicate with clients, leads, and potential targets in a style that is aligned with our culture and brand
  • Drive targeting activities: Work with CEO to determine client and industry targets. Curate a list of 150+ target companies and handle all outreach efforts (completing cold call strategy and drip campaigns, set up appointments, and follow up with target companies).
  • Track the Table XI website for visitors through our CRM tool (Hubspot) and set and execute outreach strategy for those folks on our site.
  • Proactively reach out to 20-50 people a week (through CRM tools). Be able meet new contacts as well as connect to existing customers.  Must be willing (and excited!) to invite clients to city events, Table XI dinners and networking events.
  • Lead the internal Sales huddle and attend the internal Marketing huddle.
  • Manage 1-3 client accounts and stay engaged as a client advisor alongside our client teams.
  • Facilitate account management strategies including the roll out of client scoring, and investment / growth planning with our account teams.
  • Organize and facilitate client facing events and deliver presentations that demonstrate our thought leadership in the industry.
  • Assist Table XI operations team in creating new (repeatable) events and programs.
  • Author and deliver content - thought leadership pieces on our blog / podcast.
  • Track sales budget, scorecard, leads and metrics, and keeping track of ROI for various efforts and strategies.
  • Work with delivery teams (Design, Development, Mobile teams) to define and package new service offerings as we evolve our practice.
  • Work both independently and with a team.
  • Take responsibility (even when no one asks), learn from feedback, and mentor coworkers.
  • Learn from everyone, no matter what their title is.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrable success in sales strategy planning and execution
  • Candidates have a background working with custom software teams and could bring knowledge and expertise about software design and delivery to our clients and delivery teams (have worked with agile design and development teams building and deploying custom software).
  • Must be proficient with sales tools and can teach others (HubSpot, Contactually, etc) in addition to evaluating new sales tools that we may use.
  • Capable of developing templates for our SOWs and proposals with our design team.
  • Candidates have 5+ years experience in sales operations and business development.
  • Candidates have 2+ years experience selling services.
  • Must have excellent written, communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
  • Interpersonal/Communication Skills – an innate ability to channel different points of view; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Create team atmosphere with internal staff while achieving key objectives.
  • Must be a self starter, capable of seeing through initiatives and owning a challenge independently.
  • Maturity – provide a good balance of risk taking and judgment; Able to operate independently of a large staff.
  • Critical thinking: Strategic and highly analytical.
  • Goal Oriented - naturally motivated to reach goals.
  • Professional – unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character; Who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
