Role Description
As the Director of Growth Marketing, with a special focus on Upsell and Cross-Sell Initiatives, you are charged with driving sustainable growth by leveraging our existing customer base and unlocking new avenues for revenue through strategic marketing initiatives. This role demands a blend of analytical prowess, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of customer behavior to design and implement effective growth strategies that span across various channels and touch points.
Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive growth strategies with a keen focus on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within our existing customer base, while also exploring new channels and methods for customer acquisition and retention.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Implement a rigorous testing framework to experiment with different growth hacks and marketing strategies, analyzing their effectiveness and scaling successful tactics.
- Customer Insights and Segmentation: Utilize deep customer insights to segment the audience effectively and tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with each segment, enhancing the relevance and impact of cross-sell and upsell efforts.
- Cross-Channel Marketing: Oversee and integrate various marketing channels (email, social media, content, PPC, partnerships) to create a cohesive and seamless customer experience that drives growth.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure that growth strategies are aligned with product offerings, sales goals, and customer success metrics.
- Performance Analysis: Continuously measure and report on the performance of growth initiatives against ROI and key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Leadership and Team Building: Lead and expand the growth marketing team, fostering an environment of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing with a proven track record of successfully implementing upsell and cross-sell strategies, as well as customer acquisition and retention programs (lifecycle marketing).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and metrics to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
- Proficiency in managing multiple marketing channels and understanding the nuances and best practices for each.
- Excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving ambitious growth targets.
- Innovative mindset, with an eye for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities in a dynamic market landscape.
