West Monroe Partners is looking for an Architect within our Technology Practice to lead technical projects involved in distributed architectures and real time predictive development and analytics of Big Data Analytics. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment. Successful candidates should be driven to provide high quality delivery for clients in a number of industries and be a capable team leader of the technical solution.
What will you do?
· Design, Develop, Implement solutions based in technologies such as Hadoop, HBase, DataStax/Cassandra, Kafka, Azure EventHubs, Spring Boot and more for our clients
· Apply modern Big Data technologies to solve various industry issues
· Design enterprise class high performance solutions that are built for scale
· Leadership and mentoring skills to support junior developers, educating them on best practices, performing code reviews, and removing blockers during development.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of work experience in software development.
· Development of or architecture of modern distributed architectures using modern messaging patterns and tools
· Design and dDevelopment of distributed applications that leverage microservice architecture, RESTful services and other various architectural patternsrelational and NoSQL stores and loosely coupled messaging.
· The ability to identify the right database for the job whether it’s a NoSQL store (Experience with big data stores e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop) or relational store (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
· Deep experience in .NET or Java, but a desire to explore other languages as the solution dictates
· Capacity to communicate with Development team and create detailed specifications for technical requirements to drive business needs
