Architect / Tech Lead / Sr. Back-End Engineer

Mission:

Architect and lead the development and maintenance of robust platform components that will interact with a series of user-facing operational tools and applications.  Interface with product teams and management to ensure customer satisfaction and implement new platform components.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical architecture design and discussions with respect to new systems, applications, projects and features

• Stay abreast of new technologies in the market, and make recommendations to senior management on new technologies to use in product development and direction

• As lead of an Agile team, provide technical leadership on development projects

• As a senior backend developer, be a key hands-on contributor to the design and development of new platform components

• Develop and maintain new high-quality functionality for existing platform components

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX designers, and Front-End Architects

• Delivered code will be fully tested and plug into the test automation in our continuous delivery pipeline

• Contribute code and ideas to improve developer workflow and team performance

Requirements:

• Experience with architecture responsibilities and team technical leadership

• Experience with Java/Spring Framework in a Microservices architecture

• Experience integrating with APIs and services from cloud providers

• Experience with Docker

• Great communication skills, especially written

• At least 10 years relevant experience
