How you'll make an impact: As the AWS Cloud Engineer, we are seeking someone who can build, manage, and improve infrastructure and security services in AWS. The scope of this role is to deliver highly available and scalable services that meet security and compliance objectives while leveraging AWS native infrastructure services such as IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, etc. and marketplace services such as Veeam, F5 and Cisco.

• Securely deploy service in AWS using security groups, NACLs, etc.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex network architecture in AWS including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, DirectConnect, etc.
• Design, implement and improve all AWS infrastructure and services.
• Create a well-informed cloud strategy and champion it throughout the organization.
• Advanced networking design and configuration to support highly available hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Onboard existing AWS accounts into a single AWS Control Tower account structure.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery strategy for Strata's AWS deployments
• Collaborate with development teams to extend AWS functionality to their development process.
• Drive continuous improvement of AWS products & capabilities through internal user groups and external market research.
• Work to harden, enhance, document, establish process and generally improve the operability and supportability of our systems in the cloud.
• Design multi cloud network interconnectivity between on-prem, AWS and third-party vendors
• Develop cloud documentation, policies, and procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 4 years' experience designing and implementing solutions within on-prem and cloud technologies with multi-account environments based around AWS Control Tower or Landing Zones.
• Achieved AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification
• Have previously worked in regulated industries with regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, PCI, etc.
• Expertise using VPCs, Lambda, Route53, EC2, S3, IAM, and AWS Security
• Automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or Ansible
• Infrastructure management using CloudFormation or Terraform Enterprise
• Experience in infrastructure, database and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications
• Ability to leverage Agile methodology to plan and manage workload
