What You'll Bring:
- Working Experience with C/C++, Python, Linux script, R
- Good analytical and development skills for multiple product/multiple environment levels, strong communications and interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team setting and fostering collaboration
- Previous experience working as a core developer in a full SDLC development team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience
We'd love to see:
- At least 3 year working experience with C/C++, Python, Linux scripting
- Good skills in research, analysis, and implementation, Skilled in multi-tasking and managing competing priorities while meeting assigned deadlines.
Impact You'll Make:
- In the first 90 days - Learn advanced credit knowledge, comprehend customer specification and business objectives, understand TransUnion model architect and SDLC process flow, translate customer spec into low level model design using current design tools and standards within assigned effort and turn time estimate. Develop and validate TransUnion model solutions for various fulfillment systems within assigned effort and turn time estimate. High level of quality in all work performed.
- Beyond 90 days - Effectively design, code, and validate TransUnion models per standards. Creates necessary turnover materials for Quality Assurance team. Assist with the analysis of test results to ensure models are meeting technical and customer requirements. Performs ad-hoc research and model debugging with limited supervision. Learn internal tools, and be able to troubleshooting, defect fixing, and applying enhancements to tools. Foresee problems, provide solutions, update project status to peers and management. Proactively monitor project progress throughout SDLC. Develop and maintain tools and user documentation. Collaborate within various teams on model solutions. Identify and implement quality and process improvements.
- Our team creates, integrates, and deploys customized data models for TransUnion internal and external customers to allow them to assess consumer credit risk on a customer or batch level. We utilize variety of program languages such as C, C++, C#, R, Python, Java, Json, Ab Initio, Linux scripting to fulfill work. Sr Analyst role requires a candidate to have good teamwork and customer service skills in order to work with internal and external customers to support the model development process. Attention to detail is a must as our customer deliverables must be error free. The ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables on a time and effort based schedule is also a key component for success in this role. There are multiple levels for advancement within I&D team as well as other teams within our organization.
