Responsibilities

The HAVI Advanced Analytics team is responsible for research and development of marketing analytics solutions, and assist in solution delivery. The team responsibilities include partnering with internal and external stakeholders in designing, customizing, improving, prototyping and deployment, as necessary, the marketing analytics product for internal delivery team or external major client.

This particular role focuses on the problem solving and the designing of the analytics solutions as well as supporting ongoing analytics delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyses and models structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical methods, including machine learning algorithms
• Develop prototype and/or visualization for the customized advanced analytics solutions using programming tools and data visualization/prototyping tools
• Assist the rapid prototyping of new solutions with Tableau, Python or R
• Design innovative approaches to view and interact with data for analysis
• Create functional requirements as input to analytics solution design while identifying the type of visualization that best suits your client’s needs
• Use your tech-savvy know-how to ensure functional requirements are met
• Work with the team to support analytics solution prototype, development, and test activities
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, working with stakeholders and other team members to fully analyze issues and develop scalable solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 1+ years of working experience in data science
• Demonstrated capability in understanding and solving business problems
• Experience with machine learning model development and deployment
• Proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis and modeling of large scale, complex data sets
• Proficiency with Python or R or Scala
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in at least one of the following visualization tools: Javascript Libraries/Power BI/Tableau/Python data visualization packges
• Proficiency in manipulating, extracting and presenting big data set in a concise and meaningful way to deliver convincing message
• Must be a proactive and continuous learner
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience with JavaScript
• Advanced Tableau dashboard experience
• Experience with product prototyping
• Experience with data automation
• Experience with Spark and Hadoop
• Experience with cloud environment such as AWS and Azure
