Our web and mobile applications are the industry’s first fully integrated suite for HIPAA-compliant communications including care coordination, transitions, and referrals. All of this is powered by our in-house digital assistant, whose predictive models identify patients who show a high risk for returning to the emergency department or requiring specialized support in order to optimize the health and safety of each patient’s journey. 

We are looking for a Platform Engineer who will assist in the design, implementation and continued support of our internal and production environments, which support our customer facing solutions. Your duties will include collaborating with cross-functional customer and development teams to monitor and support existing infrastructure and services, make improvements to the deployment and delivery of software, and actively participate in the ever evolving landscape of cloud-based software delivery. You should be able to work within top-tier cloud-vendor solutions (AWS, Google, Azure), and have a strong desire to leverage automation, a strong affinity in compliance and security standards, and the drive to help us continually improve our operational efficiencies.

You will:

• Work collaboratively with Platform and Application Engineering to build, deploy and maintain our platform and applications.
  
• Manage, maintain and evolve our 100% cloud-based platform infrastructure.
• Perform basic internal IT responsibilities - such as account creation, access management, and basic troubleshooting.

You are:

• Eager to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure to enable reliable and rapid deployment of applications with effective monitoring, security, and resilient operations.
• You are able to set up critical infrastructure, develop tools and framework to automate operational tasks, deployment of machines, services, and applications. 
• Open to represent DevOps Engineering, working cross-functionally with development teams on operational readiness and compliance qualifications. 
• A collaborative partner in end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical components of Dina products.

You have:

• 1 - 3 years of experience building, managing, and troubleshooting infrastructure in the cloud.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot distributed systems handling application, OS, networking (TCP/IP), and system layers.
• Experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration platforms.
• Experience with non-relational databases. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.) leveraging configuration management tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
• Proficiency with a programming language like Python, Go, and shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on collaboratively. 
• Self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
