About the role:

Farmer's Fridge is building a state-of-the-art culinary, logistics and technology operation to make fresh, nutritious food accessible to everyone. We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead the development of an AI-driven platform that enables access to fresh food and healthy living at scale.

In a typical week, you will...

• Design, build and maintain the DevOps toolchain for our proprietary Fridge IoT stack as well as Cloud and Mobile apps
• Design and implement deployment stages, rollback strategies and test automation to ensure reliability of our Agile development and release cycles
• Partner with product, QA and engineering teams for a continuously improving and continuously delightful customer experience.
• Champion methodology, tools and systems for performance, predictability and quality

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of full time professional experience in developing and maintaining DevOps toolchain and CI/CD pipeline
• Proficiency in scripting language such as Python, Internet technologies and public cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Fabric, Puppet or SaltStack
• Comfortable with Linux administration and Containers using tool like Docker and K8s.
• Appreciation of design patterns, interface guidelines and best practices in software/systems engineering
• Obsession with performance, quality and productivity metrics and how they help Farmer's Fridge make a real difference on our customers' health and happiness.
