Job Duties
The Senior Electronic Component Engineer position develops, improves, and troubleshoots electronic/electrical sensor hardware used in an array of engine and machine systems. The position responsibilities include a strong focus on quality through simulation, analysis, verification, and validation testing at the component level, subsystem, and system level. Advanced troubleshooting and analysis skills are needed to resolve complex development and field issues and to improve overall performance and cost. Incumbents may be expected to bear significant responsibility for completion of a project with major focus on delivery. The Senior Electronic Component Engineer is expected to provide technical leadership and potentially training to new staff members. Good communication is expected for technical status updates, component reviews, and when working closely with other internal and external teams in multiple geographic locations and organizations. Keeping up with industry trends and new technology breakthroughs is essential and requires continuous learning through self/internet study.
