We’re looking for an Engineering Manager

Our engineering team is growing, and we are looking for a thoughtful leader who can focus on setting our engineers up for success. You can’t wait to guide people along our journey to help others work and live their passion through the Built In platform.

How you’ll contribute

• Manage a group of engineers, handling one-on-ones, running stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Drive our hiring process to build an inclusive team of engineers that are focused on solving problems.
• Work with senior engineers on architecture decisions, whether that be software or hardware.
• Collaborate with our full product team to help define the scope of work that we can accomplish.

What you need

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a software engineer
• Proven experience in engineering leadership
• Solid understanding of agile processes (scrum, kanban)
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, continuous integration and deployment

• Proven track record in hiring to build a team
• Experience scaling technology systems from small to medium to large
• Experience with Go, Vue.js and Python
