Engineering Team Lead

Mission:

Lead engineering teams in developing and maintaining robust platform components which will interact with a series of user-facing operational tools and applications. Take ownership of the performance of engineering teams and focus on making improvements. Interface with product and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and implement new platform components.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of your team and ensure continued on-time deliveries of outstanding products

• Lead and manage your team’s sprints and deliverables

• Effectively communicate and work with leadership, product teams, other technologists, salespeople, and users simultaneously to create working software based on an understanding of our business priorities and technical priorities

• Track and improve the performance of your engineering team members

• As lead of an Agile team, be a key hands-on contributor to the design and development of new platform components

• Develop and maintain new high-quality functionality for existing platform components

• Delivered code will be fully tested and plug into the test automation in our continuous delivery pipeline

• Contribute code and ideas to improve developer workflow and team performance

Requirements:

• Experience with Java/Spring Framework in a Microservices architecture

• Experience integrating with APIs and services from cloud providers preferred

• Experience with Docker preferred

• Great communication skills, especially written

• At least 6 years relevant experience
