As the Junior Account Manager, you will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of School Partnerships to develop a sales strategy to expand market penetration and meet revenue goals in targeted regions
  • Support the Director of School Partnerships in executing a renewal strategy and new sales strategy under the direction of the Director of School Partnerships.
  • Meet or exceed your specific sales goals in new client business that is serviced in this school year by using a consultative selling approach and by collaborating with the marketing team.
  • Develop and organize lead capture and follow-up strategy
  • The position may require up to 50-75% travel, both in Chicagoland and occasionally out of state to attend overnight conferences.

 The Junior Account Manager position requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years in education sales, preferably K-12
  • Experience working in or selling to a school or school district in Illinois preferred
  • Experience monitoring metrics and reporting out to senior leadership
  • Proven track record of developing and meeting sales goals
  • Experience working with Salesforce, CRMs, and Microsoft Office products
  • Due to the nature of the role, frequent access to a car is required
