We are looking for someone to join us as a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer. You will report to the Director of Software Engineering. At the end of the day, this person will play a key role in helping scale Jiobit’s business through technology and engineering - helping to build award winning, and customer-loving, products.

This role will ultimately be responsible for the reliability, scalability, and functionality for software across various aspects of the product experience. Primarily, you’ll be tasked with the development and support of user-facing web applications, internal web applications and as well as backend infrastructure to support these web applications. Additionally, you will be able to design, document and implement backend features of our core product from scratch to production-ready state.

On a daily basis, you will be working alongside a product manager, UI/UX, cloud, mobile, and firmware engineers to bring the product experience together.

• Innovation engine - brings new, challenging ideas to the team both within ENG and outside ENG

• Product minded - demonstrates a passion for the end to end consumer experience and not just thinking about engineering on a project basis

MORE ABOUT YOU

• Advanced knowledge building modern web applications based on React/Redux frameworks. Javascript, Node.js, HTML, CSS expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services (experience with both preferred).
• Experience with Java and backend frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring).
• Hand-on experience of unit-tests and integration tests implementation, understanding the concept of code mocking.
• Good understanding of scalable web application design patterns and architecture principles.
• Infrastructure / DevOps experience (continuous integration setup, deploying and running applications in a test and production environment etc.)
• Solid understanding of the Agile development practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience leading/mentoring other software engineers and providing technical guidance
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams
• Authorized to work in the US (Citizen or Permanent Resident), no H1-B sponsorships.
