What we are looking for:

Frontend Engineers at CityBase have a passion for high-performing, well-designed web experiences that provide a world-class experience to our clients and their constituents. You’ll work with project managers, solutions engineers, designers, and clients to translate business requirements into designs that embody the aforementioned robust solutions. Leveraging ReactJS, Redux, ES2015+ and more, you’ll be part of a nimble, cross-functional team that is excited by complex problems, creative problem solving and diversity of thought. Responsibilities:

• Deliver on complex, web‐based technology projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from project definition through implementation
• Translate business requirements into a robust, scalable technical design
• Implement complex business requirements through a variety of tools and technologies
• Work closely with project managers to identify potential issues and risks
• Work closely and collaboratively with a small cross-functional team
• Instill a culture of out of the box thinking, exploration and problem solving within the team
• Help continue making CityBase an emerging leader in GovTech

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), with experience driving leading-edge web systems at scale
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS / Redux ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of JS frameworks and libraries including Jest, Enzyme, Webpack, Ramda and/or SanctuaryJS
• Strong knowledge of HTML, JS, and CSS
• Knowledgeable in browser specific behaviors and functionality
• The desire to make very performant web apps
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with Phoenix/Elixir, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL a plus
