Junior Software Developer
Job Summary:
We at RedShelf were students not too long ago and started the company based on the idea that textbooks shouldn’t cost a fortune or weigh a ton. They should be affordable and easily accessible for everyone to use. Our top priority at RedShelf is to help transition the learning community from print to digital course materials and be advocates for students everywhere.
Over the past four years, RedShelf experienced 400% YOY growth, and we’re looking to add a talented and passionate Jr. Software Developer to lead our closely-knit agile team. The Junior Software Developer will work on the latest technologies being adopted in the HTML5 specification while also having the ability to have a real impact on the future of our products.

Qualification:
- 1+ Years of full time development experience
- Experience creating web pages using HTML and CSS
- Experience with a Javascript framework (Ember, React, Angular)
- Knowledge of debugging practices for mobile and desktop browsers
- Working knowledge of Git or a similar VCS
Nice to have skills:
- Experience developing large applications using Ember
- Docker or other containerization experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment
