We are looking for a highly-motivated, Senior level Data Scientist with strong analytical skills to join our Data Science team. This work will be challenging, dynamic, and rewarding. You will be able to capitalize on the rich unstructured data collected by our platform. 

Responsibilities: 
 

• Crafting experiments that drive engagement and other goals.
• Solution design for advanced NLP problems.
• Working with customers and product owners to identify issues. 
• Visualizing results effectively to tell a narrative using data. 
• Assume ownership of challenging projects and drive innovation throughout several departments. 
  • Provide mentorship to the team on working with data-sets of varying degrees of size and complexity including both structured and unstructured data. 
• Be responsible for the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and techniques to tackle problems and optimize the product. 
• Dream to work within a collaborative, team-driven environment. 

Required Experience: 
 

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science. 
• Understanding of the scientific process and experiment design. 
• Ability to provide thought leadership around machine learning and artificial intelligence. 
• Python skills: Modules, Objects/Classes, package installation. 
• Experience with dataframes (pandas), machine-learning (scikit-learn).
• Experience utilizing NLP applications such as topic models and sentiment analysis to identify patterns within data sets is preferred. 
• Bachelor of Science in Statistics or Computer Science/Engineering, or similar fields. 
• Familiarity with SQL queries and relational databases. 
• Strong Math skills: statistics, probability, and linear algebra. 

The nice-to-haves: 
 

• Master’s degree in Analytics/Data Science/Computer Science or related field (preferred). 
• Experience with Digital Marketing domain, Google Analytics, Adwords, etc. 
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS preferred), clusters, etc. 
• Familiarity with Map-Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark. 
• Familiarity with SparkML, MXNet, or Mahout. 
• Experience with at least Tensorflow and/or Keras. 
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch, or similar search server.
