We are now looking for a Lead IT Enterprise Applications Engineer to join Matillion. This role can sit remotely across Ireland.

As part of the Security & IT function, the role will be responsible for building and managing the integration and automation team within IT. This encompasses the efforts to integrate and automate between our key SaaS systems across the business as well as designing a standard delivery model for teams across the organisation.  

Matillion has a SaaS first approach to our IT with organisational units operating their own tech stack. Applications span from Enterprise wide applications such as SalesForce/NetSuite/Workday to departmental point solutions. As business processes cross the boundaries of these applications there is opportunity for integration and automation to drive efficiency.  

This role will work to manage the team that delivers SaaS implementation projects requiring enterprise wide integration and work across business units to identify and implement integration and automation efficiencies.

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include working with strategic partners within the business and leadership within IT to help drive implementations for the business and ensure these integrations, their deployments and their ongoing maintenance are held to a high standard. 

This role will require a mix of technical delivery and strategic delivery while the team is established.

What you will be doing

• Work closely with any new enterprise application project to ensure that operational Integration and automation requirements are baked into the design and implementation phases.
• Design and document the Enterprise Application Integration landscape at Matillion.
• Own and operate automation and integration use cases within a centralised integration platform. 
• Build PoC automation and integration flows for various business units through proactive engagement
• Deliver technical projects while building the team from the ground up

What we are looking for

• Demonstrable experience managing a development team to deliver enterprise integrations and automations
• Technical knowledge of large scale business application integration and migration
• Experience of managing an iPaaS platform (Jitterbit, Mulesoft, Workato, Celigo etc)
• Experience driving large cross-cutting projects with predictable results
• Experience developing and managing the full life cycle of integrations and automations for Enterprise Applications (Workday, Salesforce, etc)
