What You'll Bring
3+ years of strong Windows Server implementation, troubleshooting and support (2016 and 2019)
3+ years of PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting and automation experience
Cloud experience
What We'd Prefer to See:
HashiCorp Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or similar tools
GPO Management
Familiarity with GitHub
Familiarity with IIS
Familiarity with SCCM
Microsoft Clustering with SQL Servers, Active Directory
Heavy PowerShell scripting skills, RESTful APIs
VMware, vRealize Orchestrator (VRO including workflows and scripts)
MCITP, AWS, Azure certifications or equivalent experience
Impact You'll Make
As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the Windows infrastructure for the corporate campus in Chicago and field locations around the world. You will define, maintain, communicate, and implement standards consistent with established architecture and strategy.
Pilot, test, review and implement new products and technologies that enable us to grow and innovate.
Create ideas to improve, automate, and simplify Windows operations to support operational teams.
Administer Microsoft SCCM to support software deployments and monthly patching operations.
Troubleshoot complex problems and provide analysis on performance and stability.
Participate in our technology transformation to the cloud by assisting business units in going to the cloud.
Participate in a cross-functional Agile delivery teams in designing and implementing solutions for our customers.
Develop ideas to implement, improve, automate, and simplify Windows operations to support operational teams.
Document and design various process in regards to CI/CD.
Participate in security initiatives, including access control, vulnerability testing, and remediation.
