Marketing Developer

We're looking for a creative problem-solver with strong PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills that values good design. You should be extremely comfortable working with WordPress and extending its functionality to serve the goals of the business. This is more than just editing a theme, but building backend functionality that enables the marketing team to scale inbound marketing efforts. If you live and breathe HTML and CSS and are ready to learn whatever technology is right for the job, we'd love to talk to you.  This role sits on the engineering team with the ability to move into a product development role in the future, minimum 1-year tenure before the transition.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver new web pages and page components on time with minimal revisions.
• You will partner with a visual designer and marketing stakeholders to discuss the feasibility of implementing new designs and website functionality.
• Manage, maintain and improve our existing code by refactoring and testing.
• You will have ownership of our local development and deployment process for external facing web properties (i.e. not the ReviewTrackers product).
• Advocate for following best practices regarding web performance, accessibility, and user experience.

What you bring:

• You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• JavaScript experience is required.
• Extensive and proven experience with various programming languages (PHP, CSS, HTML)
• Familiarity with WordPress and/or similar content management systems
• Some experience and familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot or Marketo
