Our employees have the flexibility to work in one of our office locations, completely remote, or a hybrid of the two. Please note, we are hiring on a remote working basis only in the U.S. and Canada.
ABOUT THE TEAM
With Raving Fan service at the center of their work, Basis Technologies' Client and Media Services team researches, plans, and buys media for agencies and brands. Basis is at the foundation of all their tasks—from research and vendor communication, to optimization and campaign visualization – and everything in between. This strategic and focused team shares the common goal of helping their clients to become smarter, faster and more effective at what they do.
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
This position is centered on providing support to the digital media team. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring campaigns are executed with accuracy and meeting the goals and objectives the client set forth. You will contribute by:
- Managing and assigning tasks and projects throughout the development department.
- Maintaining budgets for the web development department services.
- Contributing ideas and solutions for company growth using cutting-edge web technology.
- Managing third-party services including OneTrust, Skilljar and Pardot.
- Maintaining development cycles and deployment scheduling.
- Applying and maintaining code standards and quality through code review.
- Contributing to the codebase along with reporting developers.
- Managing website maintenance and quality assurance procedures.
- Providing wikis & documentation for development procedures and content management.
- Reporting on web department performance and success.
- Operating as the hiring manager for developers and other team members within the development department.
- Building and extending Basis culture of growth and self-improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 6+ years of web development experience.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Knowledge of WordPress and a willingness to learn new software.
- Comfortable working in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & Git.
- Strong understanding of user-experience and user-interface design.
- Strong understanding of development operations and cycles.
- Experience working with designers, developers, and stakeholders to accomplish marketing initiatives.
BONUS POINTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven ability to spot talent, hire and grow designers & developers to be top achievers.
- Ability to strategize web initiatives for company growth.
- Able to produce user-interface, user-experience, and data design.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Passion for Ad-Tech.
