We serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 400+ Smart Fridges (software-enabled vending machines) as well as direct-to-consumer channels. We are seeking a Platform Architect who will play an integral role in building a centralized technology platform to scale the company’s business. You will partner closely with our supply chain and consumer engineering teams to understand engineering needs and help us design and implement a scalable and durable foundation. This role will shape the direction of our platform capabilities as well as lead innovation efforts to mature our internal process.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with Software and Platform teams to build a centralized technology platform and revamp our DevOps stack
• Design and implement cloud-first solutions for observability and help mature the way we handle issues in the process
• Partner cross-functionally to understand software engineering needs and create solutions to increase automation and reduce developer toil
• Introduce and accelerate new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives that transform our tech platform and capabilities

What Your Background May Look Like:

• Background in SRE and/or DevOps with the ability to speak to both sides of the house
• Direct hands-on experience in a serverless-first environment as well as familiarity with container orchestration
• Experience implementing holistic observability and monitoring solutions
• Experience setting up modern CI/CD pipelines
• Highly technical, working hands-on-keyboard while continuing to think at a high, innovative level regarding future state platform design
• Demonstrated experience maturing processes in a rapidly scaling environment
• Strong understanding of business and customer needs with the leadership and communication skills to serve as a trusted business partner
• Strong expertise in AWS and networking fundamentals
• Strong programming ability in Python and infrastructure scripting
