As a QA Automation Engineer, you are primarily responsible for delivering results for DialogTech by identifying and removing risks to quality via automation test coverage for DialogTech’s software products. Along side an agile team working in a continuous delivery environment that solves complex challenges and builds groundbreaking software that operates at high volume.

More specifically, you will perform the following functions to drive the quality of our software products in the following ways:

• Build and maintain automation tests for our products across multiple agile teams
• Plan and execute the release of software updates into our testing and production environments in our continuous deployment process
• Ensure accurate executions for automated test cases in the CI/CD pipeline
• Implement and enforce to standard operating procedures and the collection of measures put in place to ensure consistency and improvement in the way we test software
• Chip in to the planning process to establish tasks and forecasts for work to be performed
• Produce reports on critical metrics of automation coverage, test results, etc
• Collaborate with agile teams to resolve testing plans that cover all testing paths for all business functionalities

The desired skills and qualifications you will need are:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA software and automation testing
• Deep understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance principles and practice, including CI/CD concepts
• Hands-on experience in test automation framework development using any language (Ruby a plus, but not a requirement)
• Hands-on experience with a version control system (ideally git) and branch management
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, specifically Code* and Lambda services a plus
• Familiarity with automated build tools like Jenkins or Travis CI a plus
• Familiarity with working in an agile or kanban environment a plus
