Job Description: As a Quality Engineer, you'll work in an agile team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build a top tier ticket marketplace that brings fans to their favorite events. Our QA engineers work closely with their teams using TDD and BDD to prevent bugs before they are found. You’ll own testing suites, explore edge cases, and champion quality for the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Passion for constant improvement in quality of product and uncovering hard to find scenarios and bugs.
- Attention for detail and knack at finding edge cases
- Continually adds business value to Agile teams through proactive participation in all the phases of Agile development - envision, design and definition meetings
- Collaborate with development and product owners to drive continuous improvement and quality of the Vivid Seats' products
- Pair with team members to identify and mitigate software risk through exploratory testing
- Develop test plans, cases and steps from user stories and acceptance criteria
- Execute tests, record bugs, and assist the development team in driving resolution
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 4-5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile software engineering design principles, QA testing tools, processes and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of QA automation methodologies, processes, and tools
- Exposure to Build, execute, and debug automated functional tests especially using selenium
- Previous experience with Agile, TDD and BDD
- Must be able to take creative approaches to solving challenging problems
- Must work well in a results-oriented environment as well as independently
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a team environment
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to multi-task
- Must be able to learn new technologies with enthusiasm and a high degree of efficiency
