This Role:

Our technology team in Chicago is looking for a QA Engineer to help support and extend our platform for our rapidly growing lending businesses (Balance Credit and Chorus Credit). We are seeking very strong hands-on candidates who want to be part of an exciting and challenging technology team in a startup atmosphere.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and execution of manual tests for Web Applications, API tests and Database Updates.
• Development and upkeep of test automation scripts
• Integration of automated functional smoke tests with Jenkins build
• Support QA Test Engineers in the execution of test automation scripts during regression testing of multiple, concurrent, complex projects and/or release efforts
• Work with QA Manager and Test Automation Engineer in the development of test execution reports and matrices of automation tests to measure effectiveness and efficiency of test executions

Requirements

• Must be able to display comprehensive knowledge of software/application test methodologies best practices
• Capable of successfully splitting duties between manual test and test automation tasks and activities
• Development experience using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Proven track record of successfully converting manual functional and system integration tests to automated tests
• IntelliJ IDE

Nice to Haves

• Experienced using test management systems such as TestRail
• Cucumber BDD experience
