Quantitative Trading Engineer (Digital Assets)
We are PEAK6, a leading investment firm. You'll find us headquartered in the historic Chicago Board of Trade building, where we first opened our doors in 1997. Over 20 years ago, we were among the first firms to develop sophisticated proprietary technology in our trading business. Today, we continue to leverage our technical ingenuity and operational excellence across several investment areas, spanning early-to-mid stage growth capital, operational control, trading and esports. Throughout the years, we've built and operated several financial technology firms and we continue to evolve.
PEAK6 Digital Assets is scaling up! We are looking for talented, experienced quantitative trading engineers to grow our trading strategies and expand our capabilities in all aspects of digital assets. You will be joining a tight-knit team building solutions across everything from treasury management and market analytics to real-time order and risk management systems.
As a part of the Digital Assets engineering team, you will be an integral contributor to the architecture and design of our software, drive discussions and decisions on coding standards and practices, mentor other engineers and help reinforce and improve our collaborative, innovative engineering culture. Your learning and growing in this space will allow you to become a trusted owner-operator with influence across the entire software delivery lifecycle of our digital assets infrastructure (design, development, implementation, post production support, & CI/CD delivery workflows).
Additionally, as a key member of the PEAK6 Digital Assets team, you will work closely with business leaders across both Digital Assets and Capital Management. Your experiences will give you unique opportunities to share and cross-pollinate with other engineers and traders across PEAK6's portfolio of established trading businesses. Your work will give you first-hand experience with high-performance computing, distributed systems, and a deep understanding of digital assets trading.
