Salesforce Administrator
The Salesforce Admin position sits within the Sales Operations Team which is a segment of the larger Origami Operations Team. The core responsibility of the Salesforce Admin is to work alongside the Marketing Teams, Inside Sales Team, Sales Reps and Operations team to ensure alignment among the groups regarding their shared CRM processes and data. The ideal candidate should have experience working as a Salesforce Admin/Salesforce CPQ Admin. This candid should be motivated by creating innovative solutions within the CRM to solve problems and implementing those solutions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 500+ users
- Focus the organization's use of data towards what best serves the mission
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields/objects and other routine tasks
- Handle the creation and maintenance of CPQ price books and product offerings
- Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implement these changes as appropriate
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, approval processes, validation rules, and Nonprofit Success Pack features such as engagement plans and levels
- Manage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/Partner
- Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, donation handling, and more
- Train new Salesforce users and drive Salesforce adoption across the organization
- Document customizations made in Salesforce
- Plan ahead for Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projects
- Partner with Salesforce Support on managing system bugs by submitting and following up on Salesforce Tickets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified preferred
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist (CPQ201 and CPQ211) certified preferred
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Team player able to work and comfortably communicate with multiple stakeholders
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail, and project management skills
