We are looking for a Salesforce Developer/Admin with CPQ understanding and experience who will support the organization through customization and configuration of the Salesforce platform. The core responsibility of the Salesforce Developer is to deliver programmatic solutions to meet business requirements within the Salesforce tool. This role will be involved in creation and management of Salesforce and CPQ processes and data.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain an understanding of Origami's business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them. This will include Salesforce, CPQ and Salesforce/Internal tool integrations.
  • Develop customized solutions within Salesforce and CPQ to support Origami's business requirements and company goals
  • Provide system administration/customization support of Salesforce, especially related to customized applications including Apex, Visualforce and lightning components, Salesforce and CPQ user permissions, security settings, workflow/flows, CPQ product and price rules and approvals.
  • Understand integration points within other systems and build code and configuration to integrate with other internal tools
  • Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reporting by end users
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements
  • Communicate with Salesforce regarding Salesforce Bugs and enhancements via Salesforce tickets


Functional Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of CPQ
    • Product Catalog/modeling, Multi Dimensional Quoting (MDQ)
    • Product Rules (selection, validation, alert and filter), Price Rules, and Option Constraints
    • Discount Schedules (volume based and term based), product Pricing Methods (list, cost, block pricing)
    • Guided Selling Process
    • Quote Template Creation
    • Bundle and Nested Bundle products
  • Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Salesforce Process Builder and Flow automation
  • Salesforce Security and sharing models
  • Salesforce API Development


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certifications preferred
  • Salesforce JavaScript Developer 1 Certification Required
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Preferred
  • Team player able to comfortably communicate with multiple stakeholders

Our Chicago HQ office is situated right on the river at LaSalle & Wacker – convenient to both the Loop and River North neighborhoods downtown. The building itself has restaurants and amenities inside along with plenty others within a one block radius. It is public transit friendly as well!
