The Salesforce Developer role is in the Customer Experience & Insights (CXI) team within the IT department at Motorola Solutions. We at CXI create experiences that enable our sellers to sell more, our employees to serve more efficiently, and our customers to more effectively serve their communities. The Salesforce Developer will work with business users, product managers, IT resources and third-party implementation partners to implement and maintain the Salesforce solution. Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
This role typically has the following responsibilities:
Design and implement Salesforce integration architecture solutions process, and data integration with Salesforce applications and other enterprise systems
Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Architects to understand the integration requirements, and advise on the Salesforce architecture solutions
Review and advise on the Technical Designs, and prepare integration architecture including technical flows to support business requirements
Develop the technical design for the salesforce application considering all the functional, technical, and integration needs of the application
Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs
Improve architecture and optimize performance of very complex software systems
Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of existing integrations and provide guidance.
Experience of integrating Salesforce with third party SaaS and ERP applications.
Experience with Salesforce Heroku Platform is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce Einstein Analytics is also a plus
Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
Good mix of technical, business and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree
5+ years experience in Salesforce technology with Force.com development, Apex, Visualforce and APIs.
3+ year experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
