Security Operations Engineer

West Monroe’s Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity Team (RC&CS) team is looking for cybersecurity operations engineer to help with detecting and preventing cybersecurity threats.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Support, manage, and monitor cybersecurity tools, including (but not limited to) antivirus, EDR, network threat detection, and SIEM
- Act as an escalation point for security alerts and incidents
- Work with cybersecurity project teams and Cybersecurity Engineering teams to create and define processes around new and existing cybersecurity tools
- Manage relationship with our managed services security provider
Requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years of experience in Information Technology security
- 2+ years of service desk and/or infrastructure support
- Experience with antivirus, EDR, network threat detection, and SIEM tools
- Strong problem solving and investigation skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload based on severity and priority
- Strong customer service skills
