JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

Cybersecurity is embedded in everything we do at Caterpillar, from the core IT systems used by tens of thousands of Caterpillar employees and business partners deployed on premise or within a Cloud provider to the products and machinery that we sell to our customers. The Cybersecurity organization has undergone a major transformation, and we are seeking the right talent to join the team.

 

Lead efforts to implement ServiceNow GRC for Cybersecurity and to continuously improve related processes and functionality. Work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business objectives for configuration, implementation and support. Responsible for system configuration, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements in support of the GRC business transformation team. 

 

Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts to design and implement ServiceNow GRC solutions in conjunction with implementation partner
• Maintain and provide continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods and tools
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing GRC business objectives
• Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
• Participate in ongoing production and end user support

• Provide regular project updates and report outs

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor (4-year) degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or other degrees in related fields
• 6+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow Platform
• Working knowledge of at least two (2) of the following areas: Java/J2EE, JavaScript/AJAX, C#/C++/C, Perl, Python, SQL
• At least one of the following active certifications or ability and willingness to obtain within first year: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Focus on quality and attention to detail
• Excellent project management, time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to present technical information in a way that non-technical management and staff will understand

• Proficient in Microsoft O365 products

 

Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
• Other related certifications such as PMP, SANS/GSEC, ServiceNow Foundations, ServiceNow GRC, ITIL
• Foundational understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance concepts - this includes, but is not limited to Policy and Compliance and Risk Management
• Archer Experience

• Knowledge of database security procedures and protocols 

 

If employee is remote, the employee will be onsite 75% of the time for the first 6 months. After that, it would drop to 25% travel. If employee is in Peoria, travel would be 10%.
