SMS Assist is looking for a Senior Android App Developer to help build a new mobile platform for facilities maintenance. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other mobile developers to create a greenfield Android application. Join our rapidly expanding team and grow your human-centered design skills as you engineer this new app from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications using Java / Kotlin. 
• Build quality applications based on product requirements
• Develop solutions that integrate with company’s proprietary platform and other 3rd party systems using native SDKs, web services, and other technologies.
• Deploy applications to Google App Stores
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile development

Role Specific Skills

• At least 3-4 years of custom development experience in Android and/or iOS technologies
• Ability to help architect an Android app from scratch
• Working understanding of the native mobile application development cycle
• Solid understanding of mobile development best practices
• Familiarity with the Agile / Scrum process
• Ability to coach junior developers

Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Graduate degree in Computer Science, or another quantitative field - or commensurate experience
• 3-4 years of experience in relevant field
